There is a feeling of optimism coming into the spring about the new staff. The optimism simply exists for some based on the coaching change. For others though it's a little more complex.
Others love the transparency of the new staff. They liked how through the months of December and January everyone essentially knew which member of the staff was visiting which recruit.
There is an element of energy that others are fond of. People liked not just how Coach Riley and his staff finished out the class of 2015, but how they did it by beating Michigan for their players two out of three times and how they have laid the groundwork with future classes.
The announcement of the head coach as well as the signing day press conferences assure fans that there will be some real insight when the coaches speak. Coach Riley seems honest and doesn't want to avoid questions.
But most of all, when you add all of this up there is a complete genuine feel about the new staff and how they want to win at Nebraska and do it in the right way.
