Armstrong talks spring and chemistry w/ WRs

Junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong talked with reporters on Wednesday about the progression of the new offense.

LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong appears to be the early front-runner to retain the starting job under new head coach Mike Riley.

On Wednesday, the former Texas prep sat out of practice with a lower back injury.

Despite being out, the junior stopped to talk with reporters about the progression of the offense under Riley and how things are different chemistry wise with his wide receivers.
