Brandon Peters likes Nebraska offense

The Huskers are looking for a quarterback that fits their offense under Mike Riley. This talented signal-caller will be in Lincoln for the annual spring game next month.

Brandon Peters, a 6-foot-4 and 190-pound quarterback from Avon (Ind.) is one of the most highly rated quarterbacks in the nation. Recently the talented quarterback announced his top five.

"My top five are Michigan, Nebraska, LSU, Indiana and Wisconsin," Peters said. "These are the schools recruiting me the hardest and also the schools that I have built the best relationships with as well."

Peters is encouraged by the Nebraska offer because of the offense that the Huskers will run under Mike Riley. Peters also likes the idea of playing for an offensive coordinator that came from the NFL and he will travel to Lincoln next month for a visit.

"Nebraska has an offense that fits me pretty well," Peters said. "They also have a quarterbacks coach with NFL experience. I will visit Nebraska on April 11th for their spring game."

On the visit Peters wants to see how the staff functions and interacts with the team. He says that he is looking for an offensive style and opportunity with the team.

"On my visit to Nebraska I just want to see how they do things and just see the campus and what it's like. I am looking for an offensive style that fits me best and the best opportunity."
