JoJo Domann sees Huskers on first day

Nebraska was out seeing recruits on the first day of the evaluation period. One of the assistant coaches was in Colorado with who might be the No. 1 outside linebackers on their board.

Colorado Springs (Colo.) Pine Creek linebacker JoJo Domann got a visit from a college coach early this morning. Domann was a name that Nebraska fans hoped would be in Lincoln this weekend for the spring game, but that didn't work out. The Huskers were out to see him on Thursday morning.

"Coach Trent Bray came here to see first thing this morning," Domann said. "He was the first coach that I have seen. I will get back out there to Nebraska sometime in June to visit there again."

The fact that Nebraska and Coach Bray think enough of Domann to see him first. That really impressed Domann. He was excited to see that effort and understand that the Huskers were serious about him particularly since Domann will make a decision in the coming months.

"It feels great that I was the first guy that they came to see. It shows that they have confidence in me and that I am a high priority for them. It shows that I am really important and a big target for them at outside linebacker."
