Nebraska offers '17 four-star QB

Nebraska has offered high-profile Indiana prep quarterback Hunter Johnson.

With quarterback recruiting going well in the 2016 class, it appears Nebraska is spending more time on the position in the 2017 class.

On Tuesday, the Huskers extended a new offer.

The four-star prospect says he will have a long conversation with offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf later in the week according to Scout.com’s Anna Hickey.

Johnson currently has offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee and more.

The 6-foot-3 quarterback passed for 1,434 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore reports the Indy Star.
