Alexander's plans put on hold

We check in with New Jersey prep Quayshon Alexander, who was supposed to commit to Nebraska this week.

According to NJ.com, DePaul Catholic high school (NJ) hybrid defensive end/linebacker Quayshon Alexander would be committing to Nebraska on Monday.

It seems like those plans have been put on hold.

According to Alexander in a message to Big Red Report, he will not be going through with his commitment.

"My mother does not feel comfortable with me committing this early, unfortunately," said Alexander.

The New Jersey prep still plans to visit Nebraska in the future and is also planning to take all five official visits this fall.
