JUCO DB Devron Davis to visit Nebraska

Nebraska will host standout junior college product Devron Davis later this month.

Nebraska will host Merced junior college defensive back Devron Davis later this month.

"I'm coming the 23rd through the 25th," said Davis in a message to Big Red Report.

A three-star prospect, Davis has offers from Arizona State, Florida State, LSU, Pitt, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Texas A&M and others.

"Nebraska has some good defensive backs over the year," said Davis in a previous interview with Scout.com. "I know it's a new staff, with Coach (Brian) Stewart and Coach (Mike) Riley, but Nebraska is a good team that I think I would fit in with...I feel like my skill-set transitions to what they want to do. I'm a competitor and I feel like I could come in and be a leader as well. I think could come in and take over the corner spot."

Davis is being recruited by Nebraska secondary coach Stewart.
