Scout Now: Stevenson's potential impact

How might four-star running back Jordan Stevenson impact Nebraska's backfield if he were to head to Lincoln?

Nebraska is hosting 2015 four-star running back Jordan Stevenson this weekend according to a 247sports.com report and (Member's) multiple Big Red Report sources

A Wisconsin signee, Stevenson was recently denied admission in Madison, a big blow to the Badgers' offense. He now has a few weeks to find a school and enroll before the start of fall camp.

Nebraska's backfield doesn't feature a guy named Ameer Abdullah at the top any longer, which means there are carries to be had. Coming out of spring practices, junior Terrell Newby likely has a small lead over senior Imani Cross and former four-star prospect Adam Taylor, but didn't do enough to establish himself as the guy this fall. Despite not being in workouts, Stevenson, a Scout.com Top 100 player in 2015, would have a chance to make an instant impact at Nebraska - something the Husker coaching staff is likely selling to him.

Big Red Report's Josh Harvey discusses in this Scout Now the potential impact the running back would have in Lincoln and what it would mean for Wisconsin.
