For the third straight year, the Big Ten media has voted Ohio State to win the Big Ten Conference heading into Big Ten Media Days. The poll was conducted by Cleveland.com, who started the annual tradition after the Big Ten Conference did away with the preseason poll in 2011.
Most voters tabbed Ohio State against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game. While Ohio State was the unanimous selection in the Big Ten East, on the Big Ten West side of things Wisconsin received 32 first-place votes, followed by Nebraska's five and Minnesota's three.
The poll also looked at the projected Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year in the Big Ten.
Out of the nine selected on offense, none were Nebraska players.
On defense, Husker defensive tackle Maliek Collins received five votes, which placed him six out of 14 on the Player of the Year list.
