Pierson-El named CBS preseason All-American

Nebraska sophomore De'Mornay Pierson-El has been named a preseason All-American by CBS Sports.

Nebraska sophomore De'Mornay Pierson-El has been named a preseason All-American by CBS Sports. The news outlet named Pierson-El's their first-team punt returner. 

As a true freshman, Pierson-El had 34 returns, for 596 yards (17.5 average) and three touchdowns in 2014 - easily missing out on a few more. His play on special teams earned him second-team All-American honors by the USA Today and Football Writers Association.

In late July, Pierson-El was one of 11 players named to the Big Ten's 2015 Watch List. Pierson-El was also named to the Hornung Award Watch list, given to college football's most versatile player. 

Pierson-El joins Ohio State's Ezekiel ElliottVonn Bell, and Patrick Elflein on the CBS list from the Big Ten. In addition, Michigan State's Jack Allen appears as the team's center.
