LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska football team kicks off their season this Saturday against BYU. Head coach Mike Riley is scheduled to talk to the media on Monday, but until then, here are some videos Big Red Report needs to get off the hard drive.
The Nebraska linebacker position will be young going into the season, including likely a true freshman starter in Dedrick Young. But, another true freshman impressing is Tyrin Ferguson, who will provide depth at the MIKE spot. Junior Michael Rose talked about Ferguson’s rise at the position.
Senior Ryne Reeves is likely penciled in as the Huskers’ starting center, after missing the spring with an injury. Reeves talked about being back on the field and what it’s like to not have a huddle.
