When asked about the other visits, Alexander said they were not scheduled at this point, but would be taken to make sure Nebraska was the right school for him.
When the Huskers landed the New Jersey product, he was considered to be the No. 1 linebacker prospect on Trent Bray's board - a vital piece to Nebraska's 2015 recruiting class.
Big Red Report likes Alexander because of his versatility. The senior has the build to possibly play a hybrid role later in his career.
While right now Big Red Report has not ranked the 2016 overall (it will happen closer to National Signing Day), Alexander would be considered by us a top five prospect in the class.
Alexander had offers from Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Miami, Arizona State, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Miami, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Virginia and Virginia Tech during the recruiting process. With his openess to check out other schools, it will be interesting to see if others try to jump in on his recruitment again.
