Nebraska linebacker commitment Greg Simmons had been to Lincoln. He had seen Memorial Stadium.
Seeing it with 90,000 fans - that's a different story.
The Scout.com three-star prospect officially visited Nebraska over the weekend and despite the Huskers' loss, walked away extremely impressed with his trip.
"The place was crazy. The atmosphere is awesome," said Simmons. "BYU is a good team. I know Nebraska will bounce back. They had guys out. They are a team moving in the right direction."
Spotted on the sidelines before the game, Simmons was seen embracing many members of the Nebraska staff.
"They really made me feel part of the family," said Simmons. "It's like I'm already on the team...When they lost yesterday, I lost as well."
The Florida prospect had a sit down with head coach Mike Riley on Saturday night.
"We had a good bond talk," said Simmons. "He told me to be ready to play next year. We talked about my thoughts on Lincoln and how I was enjoying the trip."
Simmons won't likely be able to make it back to Nebraska this year due to travel, but will closley follow the Huskers on television. As fas as anymore trips?
"I'm all Nebraska," said Simmons.
