LINCOLN, Neb. – The boot is precautionary. Breathe easy Nebraska fans. Junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong practiced on Tuesday, looking to build on one of the better games of his career against BYU over the weekend.
Armstrong struggled in the second quarter against the Cougars, but also at times was running for his life.
“We missed a couple throws, we had a drop in there, but overall it was pretty solid,” said offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf when asked about the Huskers passing game. "He probably missed a throw or two, but I thought he handled the game very well."
Armstrong talked about the game and South Alabama this weekend in the video above.
