LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska sophomore cornerback Chris Jones is excited to go home this weekend. The former Florida prep will be playing with his mom in the audience for the first-time in his college career.
It will also be a chance for Chris to show the in-state schools what they are missing.
Coming out of high school, the defensive back had very little interest from power-five schools inside the Sunshine State. Orginally a Purdue commit, Jones ended up flipping his commitment to Nebraska late in the recruiting process.
"When I'm going back, it's like, 'yeah, you missed out on a great player,'" said Jones.
In the video above, Jones talks about his decision to head to Nebraska, the Miami contest and the adjustments he had to make coming to the Cornhusker State.
