Nebraska makes lineup changes on defense

Nebraska rolled with a different starting lineup on defense on Saturday against Southern Miss.

Nebraska rolled witha  different starting lineup on defense Saturday, dealing with injuries and inconsistent play in their secondary. 

At cornerback, Nebraska started senior Jonathan Rose and sophomore Josh Kalu. Senior Daniel Davie started the game on the sidelines after struggling in the frist three weeks. 

At linebacker middle linebacker Josh Banderas (groin) was dressed in street clothes, his replacement is junior walk-on Chris Webber.

As expected, sophomore Marcus Newby played in place of the injured Michael Rose-Ivey, who is out at least four weeks with a groin injury.
