LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska might be getting healthy a little too late.
The Huskers are now 2-4 on the season and a chance at a Big Ten West division title is out the window. But, a bowl game is very much a possibility and Nebraska appears to be getting healthy to make second half run.
Linebacker Josh Banderas, who has only played in two games with a groin injury, is expected to practice on Monday. The same can be said for Daniel Davie, who is also battling a groin.
Nebraska head coach Mike Riley listed defensive tackle Kevin Williams (thumb) and Michael Rose (groin) as questionable. In addition, linebacker Chris Weber is day-to-day with a strained neck.
It wasn't all good news for Nebraska. Starting offensive tackle Nick Gates, who left early against Wisconsin, has a high ankle sprain and is listed as out for Saturday's contest against Minnesota.
