After already officially visiting Nebraska earlier in the fall, KC Run GMC product Jeriah Horne was back in Lincoln over the weekend.
The Husker commit made the trip North to hang out with Scout.com Top 100 player Isaiah Roby, a fellow Husker commit on the senior’s official visit.
“It was good. I had a good time. I had a great time with Isaiah Roby and the rest of the team,” said Horne. “That was my main focus of the trip, was to really get to talk with Roby more.
“I felt we have a good connection and chemistry. We worked out a bit and I could really tell that our games compliment one another.”
Horne watched the Huskers practice on Saturday morning before the football game and said he liked what he saw.
“The guys were working hard, practice was upbeat, and the guys were energetic. It was a pretty intense practice,” said Horne, who then made his way to the Nebraska basketball game.
“It’s unbelievable. I think they had close to 90,000 people there. The atmosphere is extremely energetic. I’m excited to see 15,000 fans in Pinnacle. I can’t wait. I’m definitely going to come to a few games, but I’m not sure which ones they will be.”
The three-star product is viewed as a 3 or 4 in head coach Tim Miles’ system next season. He recently picked Nebraska over offers from DePaul, Kansas State, Wichita State and Pepperdine in late September.
