Lincoln, Neb. - The Huskers practiced for just under two hours in half pads Tuesday afternoon. The offense practiced inside Memorial Stadium and the defense practiced on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice field in preparation for the Minnesota game this Saturday. Offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf spoke with the media following practice.

Langsdorf had the following to say about Armstrong's completion percentage, "We had six drops a couple of weeks ago (against Illinois). We had a couple last week (against Wisconsin). So (his) completion percentage is a little skewed. I think there are some throws we'd like back. We might've misfired here and there. A couple of the hits we've missed should've been easy completions."
Langsdorf went on to talk about some of the execution problems the team has faced so far this season. "Anytime you're not executing for whatever reason, you really have to look at why," Langsdorf said. "How can we put the players in a better situation or a better situation to be able to execute. So if we're misfiring I have to look and continue to say, 'What are we good at? What are we confident in doing? Are we doing too much? Are we doing enough deception? Are we making it easy enough on the quarterback?' So, I think, when we haven't executed as well there's probably stuff we haven't been as comfortable with. We've been off a little bit on the timing."
Coach Langsdorf also spoke about what he feels they've done well six games into the season. "I think we've run the ball pretty well. You're going to reflect on a lot of things you could do different, so I think you're always gathering that information and you're getting experience on specific situations you might handle differently."
Nebraska takes on Minnesota in Minneapolis at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The game can be seen on ESPN2, and will also be available online at WatchESPN. The Huskers will be back at it tomorrow for practice.
