Davis Gets Chills From Nebraska Atmosphere

Nebraska running back target Kingston Davis said an atmosphere like Saturday's in Lincoln can give a guy chills.

high school (Ala.) running back Kingston Davis is currently committed to Michigan, but over the weekend, the three-star prospect was in Lincoln to see the Huskers beat Michigan State.

"The atmosphere was so electric," said Davis in a message to Big Red Report. "An atmosphere like that can give you chills."

Davis currently is trying to set up a visit to LSU this weekend, a school he has an offer from. He will also visit Michigan again before the process is over.

The senior got a good look at the Nebraska running game against Sparty on Saturday. Senior Imani Cross ran for nearly 98 yards against what is considered a stout running defense.

"They (Nebraska) said that I fit perfectly in the offense and the way they use their backs," said Davis "He (RB coach Reggie Davis) wants  me to be apart of it. The style of running they use, I could see myself in the offense."

Nebraska is 4-6 on the season, struggling to close late in games at times. It isn't something the 2016 running back is worried about.

"Most of their games they lost were last second deals and they ended up on the short side of the stick," said Davis. "They have a great tradition and I know they will be fine. They are a good football team."

Davis is currently the nation's No. 89 running back in the country.
