The search for a third Nebraska WR commit

Nebraska is searching for a third wide receiver and a little news regarding one Husker target came out on Sunday.

Nebraska continues to look for a third wide receiver in the 2016 class, focusing much of their efforts on a taller player to add to the group.

Louisville commit Desmond Fitzpatrick visited Lincoln when the Huskers took on Michigan State and Florida three-star prospect C.J. Riley visited during Nebraska's matchup with Wisconsin. Both remain on the board.

Page high school (NC) wide receiver Diondre Overton listed the Huskers in his top five last week and will be making his decision in early January. He has yet to visit Lincoln, but is on the board.

A week ago Big Red Report wrote Southlake Carrolll (Tex.) wide receiver Zach Farrar would eventually be taking a visit to Nebraska, possibly for the Huskers' matchup with Iowa. It appears they will have to wait longer on the three-star prospect.

In a report by's Scott Eklund, Farrar told he intends to visit all schools in January

"I haven't finished my season yet, so I'm going to wait," said Farrar, who is focusing his attention on Washington, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.

When it comes to Nebraska?

"I really like the staff there and they develop receivers pretty well," said Farrar.

So far this season, Farrar has recorded 38 catches for 760 yards, finding the end zone 14 times.

Nebraska is no stranger when it comes to Southlake Carroll high school. Kicker Drew Brown played for the Dragons.
