After a trip to Nebraska never materialized this past summer, junior college defensive back Devron Davis reports he will be visiting Lincoln this weekend.
Davis, who has only visited Michigan State officially at this point, has an offer list of 20+ schools.
“I want to get know the coaching staff better,” said Davis, who thinks he will be ready to graduate at semester.
"I know it's a new staff, with Coach (Brian) Stewart and Coach (Mike) Riley, but Nebraska is a good team that I think I would fit in with,” said Davis in a previous story with Big Red Report. “I feel like my skill-set transitions to what they want to do. I'm a competitor and I feel like I could come in and be a leader as well. I think could come in and take over the corner spot."
In ten games this season, Davis finished with 41 tackles and four interceptions. He also recorded two fumbles.
