Report: Nebraska's football team is valued at $444.13 million

The Nebraska is worth some money according to a study by an assistant university professor published in the Wall Street Journal.

According to an annual study by Ryan Brewer, an assistant professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus, the Nebraska football team is valued at $444.13 million - good for No. 11 in the country.

Brewer analyzes revenue, cash flow, risk and growth projections each year in the study.

The top team in the country?

Fellow Big Ten conference member Ohio State, a whopping $946.61 million. Followed by Texas, Michigan, Notre Dame and Alabama.

Big Ten conference mates Penn State checked in at No. 10, while Iowa was right behind Nebraska at No. 12.
