According to a Twitter report by NBC New Orelans anchor Fletcher Mackel, former Tulane quarterback Tanner Lee will visit Nebraska this weekend.
A 19-game starter in two seasons with the Green Wave, Lee visited LSU last weekend. The redshirt junior threw 23 touchdowns 21 interceptions in 2014 and 2015, throwing for 3,601 career passing yards. Tulane went 3-9 in 2015.
Lee would likely have to sit out the 2016 season and would be eligible to play for his next school in 2017 – unless he was to transfer down a level.
Nebraska already took one quarterback in the 2016 class in Patrick O’Brien. He’s enrolled early. In addition, the Huskers have four others set to be on scholarship in 2016 at the moment.
