Nebraska head coach Mike Riley visited Tulane transfer quarterback Tanner Lee

Nebraska head coach Mike Riley stopped by a quarterback's home on Tuesday night.

After visiting Nebraska over the weekend, former Tulane quarterback Tanner Lee hosted Nebraska head coach Mike Riley on Tuesday with family in attendance. Lee wanted to spend time with family on Tuesday night, but did text Big Red Report how the meeting went.

"The visit went really well," said Lee. "My family and I enjoyed him."

A 19-game starter in two seasons with the Green Wave, Lee visited LSU last weekend. The redshirt junior threw 23 touchdowns 21 interceptions in 2014 and 2015, throwing for 3,601 career passing yards. Tulane went 3-9 in 2015.

Lee has plans to finish out the spring semster at Tulane and transfer to a new school during the summer. He's also visited LSU in the last two weeks. Nebraska wide receivers coach Keith Williams coached at Tulane when Lee was just a redshirt freshman.

Big Red Report will have more with the quarterback in the coming days.
