Nebraska has jumped in on Buena Park (Cali.) tight end/wide receiver prospect Taariq Johnson's recruitment. The news was broke by Scout.com's Greg Biggins and confirmed by Johnson via social media an hour later.
The Huskers join a growing list of schools, including: Baylor, Notre Dame, Michigan, Cal, Arizona State and Miami among others.
Johnson is a hybrid tight end/h-back prospect who could cause major mismatch problems at the next level because of his ability to line up at multiple spots on the field.
