“I play the position. I feel like I should be the guy that fills in. If the job is not being done, I feel like I should be able to do it,” said King, who says starting is the No. 1 goal. “I have to win all the mental reps, so I can win the physical reps.”
King says the doubters give him fuel.
“If you doubt me, I feel like I have to prove something to somebody,” said King. “Mostly, I just want to make my family proud.”
