Nebraska Sophomore Commit Cameron Jurgens Hits Huskers' Junior Day

Nebraska sophomore commit Cameron Jurgens, a member of the 2018 class, hit the Huskers' junior day on Saturday to watch practice.

Despite being just a sophomore, Nebraska 2018 commit Cameron Jurgens made his way to Nebraska junior day on Saturday. The Beatrice high school (Neb.) product will likely be the highest ranked prospect in the state of Nebraska in next year's class.

Jurgens talked about the trip with Big Red Report on Saturday night.

"I was surprised how many recruits were there," said Jurgens. "I didn't do a whole lot with junior day. I mainly just wanted practice and ate."

One area he specifically watched was the tight end group.

"I really like how Coach Thompson coaches them," said Jurgens. "The couple of practices I have been to, I have been able to talk with the tight ends quite a bit and that is fun. They are a nice group of guys."
