LINCOLN, Neb. – Many projected redshirt sophomore Jerald Foster would make a run at a starting spot last season, but the guard lost a position battle to former walk-on Dylan Utter early in fall camp.
“I don’t know if I really want to go too deep into it. It was a lot about where my head was and my head is in the right place now. I’m ready for it,” said Foster. “All around was really buy into the program and buy into learning the offense to a new level.”
Foster said there is a difference between knowing the players and knowing why a certain play or change to the play is being made.
In the video above, Foster talks about his spring so far and what it’s like working with offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh.
