Stanford Commit Sione Heimuli-Lund Receives Nebraska Offer

Stanford commit Sione Heimuli-Lund received a Nebraska offer on Wednesday.

Stanford commit Sione Heimuli-Lund, a Scout.com Top 300 linebacker/runnning back, has received an offer from Nebraska. While the junior is currently committed to the Cardinal, he's open to taking visits.

"Heimuli-Lund can play fullback or linebacker but could start out at fullback in college," said Scout.com national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins. "He's a powerful kid who runs hard and has much better speed than given credit for. He's a natural pass catcher with very good hands and showed last summer at one of the Opening Regional camps that he's very comfortable running routes and working in space. Defensively, he's a physical player, a sure tackler and uses his speed to get in to the backfield or run down plays from behind."
