After earning MVP honors at Nebraska's satellite camp in Los Angeles last summer, Buena Park high school (Cali.) three-star wide receiver Jeremiah Hawkins will visit Nebraska for the Red-White game on April 16. The three-star received notified Big Red Report in a text message.
Nebraska has had success already in California this recruiting class, landing four-star products Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Tristan Gebbia.
"Those are both two great players. To see them choose Nebraska, both being from Cali, there must be something special about Lincoln," said Hawkins. "Hearing their reasons for choosing Nebraska, it also makes me even more want to get up there and visit. So I'm just counting down the days until April 16. I want to see it myself."
The junior has additional offers from Washington State, Cal, Utah, Arizona State, Boise State, Maryland, Washington, Colorado, Oregon State and others.
"Coach Williams and I have a very great relationship," said Hawkins. "Every single day no matter what, we talk to each other like we are family. I love everything about him."
