Montgomery (Ala.) Jefferson Davis defensive end Alec Jackson said his Nebraska offer came out of no where, but the three-star prospect is definitely interested in the Huskers.
“What I know about the Cornhuskers is they have a crazy fan base going on a 347 game sell out streak,” said Jackson. “I really have interest. Basically the whole defensive staff either played or coached in the league, so they are going to try everything there to get you to the next level. They know what it takes.”
Jackson had previously told Scout.com he has a top three of Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina, but isn’t close to making a decision. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect also has offers from schools such Auburn and Kentucky.
Big Red Report will continue to monitor Davis’ recruitment.
