Los Angeles (Cali.) Bishop Mora Salesian high school athlete Nick Pickett was thinking he would be in Lincoln for the Huskers’ Red-White spring game. Those plans have now since changed.
“I don’t think I will be able to make it,” said Pickett. “My interest level is high. I like their coaching, specifically at the wide receiver position with Coach Williams. I think he's one of the best to do it and he's able to prepare you for the best level. I also love the fan base that they have.”
Nebraska and an offer from Utah are the opportunities standing out the most for the three-star Scout.com projected safety.
Pickett doesn’t have an exact date at the moment, but says not only does he want to take an unofficial to Nebraska, but also an official visit.
“I know for sure I will be taking an official there,” said Pickett.
The junior also has offer from Washington State and San Diego State.
