Nebraska 5-Star Target Darnay Holmes Pushes Back Commitment Date

Calabasas (Calif.) was originally set to make a summer decision but will now go through the process and make his decision after taking his official visits.

You won't find too many more dynamic athletes anywhere in the country, on either side of the ball, than Darnay Holmes. He's a tremendous cover corner prospect but makes an even better impact at the H.S level at receiver and is also good for a couple of highlight reel plays every time we see him.

Holmes was planning to make a decision on his birthday, June 23 but has decided to postpone his announcement so he could take all of his official visits first.

Holmes checked out UCLA over the weekend and is planning to take several more unofficial visits this spring and summer, including California,  Stanford,  Tennessee  and Washington.

As for his official visits, Holmes said the only school he has planned right now is to Miami, which is a new school on his list. You can bet he'll also visit Nebraska at some point with his Calabasas teammates and a trip to Arizona, where his older brother Darick Holmes plays is another strong possibility.
