Los Angeles Cathedral (Cali) high school wide receiver Jamire Calvin will likely take more visits before he makes a decision, but at the moment he still has just visited Nebraska.
At one point considered to be a prospect who might jump in Nebraska’s class next, the three-star wide receiver says he hopes visits happen before his senior year.
“I know in the summer my teams goes to the University of Utah, so I will automatically visit there. Then we go to Arizona, so that is another visit. I’m figuring out my official visits now.”
Calvin visited Nebraska nearly a month ago for the Huskers’ Red-White game and walked away extremely impressed.
“The biggest thing was just the family environment and all the love that I got from everyone out there,” said Calvin. “It was great to be known and appreciated before even stepping foot on campus as an actual student.”
Calvin did indicate to Scout.com in late April a trip to UCLA for the Bruins’ summer camp was still a possibility.
Calvin has offers from schools like California, Missouri, Penn State, BYU, Washington, Utah, Oregon State, Tennessee, Louisville, Boston College and Fresno State among others.
