Nearly a month after visiting Lincoln for Nebraska's Red-White spring game, four-star California cornerback Deommodore Lenoir put the Huskers in his top ten on Thursday night. The soon to be senior announced the list on his Twitter page.
Joining Nebraska on the list was: Oregon, Alabama, Florida, USC, UCLA, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan and San Diego State.
Immediately Nebraska commits went to social media to respond to Lenoir's top ten.
"It was shocking for me how great that fan base is," Lenoir said after his visit to Nebraska. "I was expecting to have a good time but it really exceeded my expectations. I've been looking at Nebraska pretty hard for a while now so it was great to get out there and see the place and I really enjoyed myself.
"The facilities were amazing as well. I felt very comfortable, it's a safe place and I can definitely see myself there for the next three or four years of my life. I don't have a leader right now but Nebraska is very high on my list and I'll be back there for an official visit for sure."
The Los Angeles Bishop Mora Salesian high school prep is a teammate of UCLA linebacker commit and Nebraska target Rahyme Johnson. The two visited Lincoln together and both made Big Red Report's "dream wish list" for 2016 on Thursday.
An invitee to the Opening Finals in July, Lenoir has said comfort level will be the biggest factor in his final decision.
"I spent a lot of time with Coach Riley, Coach Stewart and Coach Banker," Lenoir told Scout.com's Greg Biggins. "They're all great guys and great coaches. They talked to me about how I would fit in with the defense, playing corner and safety as well as special teams.
