According to a report by the Omaha World Herald, Nebraska backup sopomore quarterback A.J. Bush is working with a private quarterback coach in Arizona this offseason.
"The talent level is there — his ceiling is super high," said Gile. "I'm not trying to create somebody who's not a quarterback. I'm just trying to help someone be a better quarterback. No question — he's a Division I starting quarterback at a high, high level. It's everything. He has all the intangibles to play the position."
Bush was the third-string quarterback in 2015, behind starting quarterback Tommy Armstrong and backup Ryker Fyfe.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Georgia native has yet to log any game action at Nebraska.
