Former Nebraska Cornhusker Lavonte David Voted No. 53 Player In The League By Peers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David, a former Nebraska linebacker, was voted the 53rd-best player in the NFL by his peers on "Top 100 Players of 2016."

A second-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, former Nebraska Cornhusker Lavonte David is now one of the best linebackers in the NFL. His peers agree. 

David was voted the 53rd-best player in the league by the players on "Top 100 Players of 2016," a feature.

David was a first team All-Big Ten selection (coaches and media) and won the inaugural Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year in 2011 with Nebraska. In two years with the Huskers, the junior college product recorded 285 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.
