Behind a quick start from Husker guard Tai Webster, New Zealand improved to 3-0 in the Atlas Cup, routing host China, 98-74, on Thursday.
Webster scored the first five points to the game, as New Zealand led by 12 points at the end of the first quarter and built a commanding 50-22 halftime lead.
Webster reached double figures for the third-straight game, finishing with 13 points, including 7-of-7 from the foul line, while adding three rebounds, two assists and two steals in just 17 minutes of action.
In three games in China, Webster is averaging 13.3 points per game on 68 percent shooting along with 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.7 assists per game.
New Zealand will continue action Saturday evening with the semifinals with the finals set for Sunday.
