Bradenton (Florida) IMG Academy offensive lineman Broc Bando has committed to Nebraska. The offensive lineman used to play for Lincoln Southeast high school in Lincoln, Nebraska, before deciding to further his prep career at IMG.
Bando picked the Huskers over offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, East Carolina, Louisville and Mississippi State. The soon to be senior is taking his second recruiting visit to Nebraska this weekend since receiving an offer, after visiting the Huskers during the spring.
"Bando is a kid that possesses the versatility to play some right tackle long-term, but currently projects best in the interior at offensive guard," according to Scout.com Flordia recruiting analyst Corey Bender. "He's an aggressive kid that's on the lookout for contact until each play is whistled dead, but has to continue to get stronger to enhance his drive blocking skills. Bando is also a decent athlete that gets out and reaches the second level with ease."
