Sacramento (Cali.) Inderkum high school defensive back Trajon Cotton will take an official visit to Nebraska. The three-star prospect has offers from a handful of power five schools, including: Arizona State, Oregon, Cal and Utah.
“I really like the Huskers right now,” said Cotton. “The campus is beautiful. The stadium is beautiful. The staff is perfect. I really like the atmosphere and I have heard the fans are great.”
Cotton has plans to visit Nebraska during the Oregon game in September and will be looking to make a decision sometime during the season.
“I’m excited for the game day atmosphere at Nebraska,” said Cotton. “I also want to see GBR in action.”
Cotton went on to describe his relationship with Nebraska defensive backs coach Brian Stewart.
“The fact he is a NFL guy really does make it even better for me,” said Cotton. “Coach Stewart and I have a great relationship. We talk all the time. He has big plans for me in their defense.”
Cotton has indicated in previous Scout.com articles distance will not factor into his decision.
In addition to the previous schools mentioned, Cotton holds power-five offers from Washington State, Illinois, Colorado and Oregon State.-->
