Nebraska Lands Another Visit From Five-Star WR Joseph Lewis

Nebraska will land another visit from California five-star wide receiver Joseph Lewis.

According to Scout national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, Los Angeles (California) Hawkins five-star wide receiver Joseph Lewis will make his second summer trip to Nebraska next week. The trip will come after stops in Alabama and Tennessee. Lewis is expected to visit three total days. "Lewis is still a bit raw but has upside off the charts," said national recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman. "He won't be 18 until a month until his freshman year in college but already looks like he can play at the next level. He's not ridiculously fast, and he won't blow by you with his speed, but he's plenty fast and his combination of size and speed make college coaches drool over him as a prospect.

The nation’s No. 1 wide receiver can go about anywhere he wants in the country, but often mentions Nebraska first when asked about schools who are recruiting him the hardest.  He visited Lincoln during the Huskers’ third and final Friday Night Lights and has also indicated he will be back for an official visit this fall.

“I’m going to go to Nebraska when they play Oregon,” said Lewis. “The coaching staff is very welcoming and they treat you like their own. It’s a great program and I had an awesome time out there.”

Lewis is still also considering Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon, Arizona, Tennessee, USC and UCLA.
