During the months of April, May and June, Big Red Report constructed an offensive and defensive wish list for the Huskers.
During July we will be taking it a step further – focusing every couple days on a new position, not just one side of the football.
With roughly 18 scholarship seniors leaving the program after the 2016 season, Nebraska’s class will likely push to 21 or 22 in February. Of course it’s early and the number is usually always higher the closer National Signing Day gets.
Today we look at the linebacker spot. With two graduating seniors, one four-star prospect in the bag, another linebacker from Florida committed and quite a few highly sought after prospects still considering Nebraska, the Huskers' linebacker numbers could be interesting in this class.
For this exercise, there are a few guys who likely won’t sniff Nebraska – they won’t visit, but they do have an offer. On these lists, we also list any prospect who was already are a commitment.
