Nebraska Attention To Detail Paying Off For WR Jamie Calvin

Nebraska is paying attention to the details in recruiting and it maybe paid off on Monday morning.

Los Angeles (Cali.) Cathedral high school wide receiver Jamire Calvin has been on the Huskers' radar for quite some time and on Monday morning, they let the wide receiver how important he really is.

"I got it right at 12 p.m. from Coach Riley," said Calvin in a message to Big Red Report. "It makes me feel important. The only other one I've gotten so far (as of 9:15 a.m. CT) was ASU."

The month of August also means the start of high school football camps. Calvin will start practices today. 

"I'm very excited, the season is finally here," said Calvin. "I'm just ready to put the closing chapters to my high school career down. It's going to be something special. I can't wait to out play these low rankings that I get."

Calvin visited the Huskers for the Red-White game and will be taking an official visit to Lincoln in July.
