Nebraska has landed Jenks high school (Oklahoma) tight end Reese Leitao. The three-star prospect picked the Huskers over offers from Maryland, Penn State, and Oklahoma State among others.
"First off I'd like to thank God because without him none of these opportunities would be possible," said Leitao in a social media post. "I'd like to thank all of the schools that have believe in me and recruited me in the process...
"For the next 5 years I'll be attending the University of Nebraska. #GBR"
A few minutes later, Leitao sent a text to Big Red Report.
"It was everything," said the tight end on the reason why he committed. "The coaching staff welcomed me as a family. Academics provides me with a lot of help for a difficult engineering degree. And the fan base is out of this world. I had to."
Leitao took in Nebraska during one of the Friday Night Light camps in June.
This is a developing story.
