What was supposed to be a big West Coast recruiting weekend for Nebraska/Oregon turned out to be only one California prospect – Sacramento Inderkum high school safety Trajon Cotton.
The three-star prospect is currently scheduled to take officials to Oregon and Illinois, but left this morning from Lincoln extremely happy with his trip to Nebraska.
“It was an 11,” said Cotton when talking with Big Red Report about his trip. “The fans are so friendly and the staff made sure I had the time of my life. The biggest memory I will have was when I walked in the tunnel after the game with Coach Riley hitting all the fans hands and celebrating. The game was more exciting because I’m considering Pac-12 schools.”
Cotton is still looking to take other officials before announcing any leaders, but did say Nebraska "jumped a whole lot" in his recruitment.
