"They certainly got closer and guys didn't miss a game yet. That is a good thing," said Riley.

Through five games quarterback Tommy Armstrong has thrown for 1,151 yards, finding the end zone nine times to just two interceptions. During bye week practice access last week, Armstrong was spotted with a walking boot. Called precautionary at the time, Riley addressed Armstrong’s situation.

"Tommy is out of the boot," said Riley.

Riley indicated there was no change in last week's update regarding starters Jordan Westerkamp and Cethan Carter, who are both doubtful for this week.

Here is a full list of the injury situation Nebraska is dealing with, which includes six starters and a major contributor in Ozigbo.
