Nebraska wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp will play his final game in Memorial Stadium on Saturday, after producing one of the best careers for a wide receiver in program history.
With at least three more games, Westerkamp has a chance to continue to climb the all-time Nebraska ranks.
Here is where he currently sits in multiple categories:
#4 CAREER RECEPTIONS:
155 (NEEDS 26 MORE TO BREAK THE RECORD)
#4 CAREER RECEIVING YARDS:
2,389 (NEEDS 350 YARDS TO BREAK THE RECORD)
#4 CAREER RECEIVING TOUCHDOWNS:
Westerkamp has caught at least one pass in 34 straight games, three shy of Johnny Rodgers’ school record.
It is too bad Westerkamp missed two games with a back injury this season. If he had stayed healthy, it's likely he would have broken both the career receptions and receiving yards record.
