Defensive Tackle Damion Daniels Will Likely See Nebraska This Week

Nebraska very well could be the favorite to land defensive tackle Damion Daniels and the Huskers are expected in-home this week.

After visiting Nebraska back in September, Dallas (Tex.) Bishop Duane high school defensive tackle Damion Daniels hasn't made much news on the recruiting front. A run at a state title had much of Daniels' attention.

The senior also visited UTSA. Iowa and Colorado have also been in the mix, but the Hawkeyes appear to be trending downward after losing fellow high school teammate Chevin Calloway.

On Saturday, Nebraska defensive line coach John Parrella visited Daniels' state title game in Waco. Unfortunately Bishop Dunne lost a close one. With his senior season over, expect Daniels recruitment to heat back up.

"He's scheduled a few in-homes this week," said Tony Davis, Damion's father.

Expect one of those visits to come Parrella and Nebraska head coach Mike Riley.
