Nebraska visitor primer (1-26-17)

A look at the Nebraska officials coming to town.

National Signing Day is less than one week away and the Nebraska coaching staff will be hosting their last group of visitors over the weekend.

Here is a preview of who will be in town.

The two-way high school standout visited TCU over the weekend and said it would take a lot to top his trip to Fort Worth. A former Cal commit, the bigger corner saw Nebraska in his living this week.

Right now it is too close to call, but it appears the Huskers and TCU are the top two schools for his services. It never hurts to have the last visit.

After visiting Nebraska during the Red-White spring game and then again for Friday Night Lights, the California four-star receiver will be making his first trip back to Lincoln in nearly six months.

Lindsey decommitted from Ohio State and pledged his services to the Huskers last month. Since, he’s been very active on Twitter – acting as a recruiter for Nebraska.

Currently he’s the highest ranked prospect in Nebraska’s 2017 class.

After visiting USC last weekend, it appeared Las Vegas (NV) Spring Valley cornerback Tony Wallace was shutting down his recruitment and staying loyal to Arizona.

But tweets can be deleted and the 2017 prospects is making his way to Lincoln this weekend.

Wallace comes from the same school as Randal Grimes, a longtime Nebraska target at wide receiver who is committed to USC.

The senior hasn’t been playing the game long, after not going out for the sport his sophomore and junior year.
